As we ended the 2018-19 season, for the final game of the season, we pitched HBO on a partnership for Game of Thrones’ Final Season.
Though the team was not in playoff contention, Game 82 shattered numbers and punched above its weight class in engagement and revenue metrics. The “Battle of the North” between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Toronto Raptors was an unforgettable campaign.
In just two weeks, we ideated and executed all of the needed assets for the digital and retail-only partnership, creating custom graphics, social avatar takeovers, copy specific to the Game of Thrones world, and much more.
In total, we generated one of the best days in Timberwolves history for online merchandise sales as well as engagement.
